The Hand Behind the Scenes

This will not be everyone's story at least not in these dramatic details. I've included it because it is simply too powerful a testimony to pass over in silence. People need to know what our God can do. We are incredibly grateful that He gave us these unmistakable signs. However, don't expect God to work in your life in this way. He may. Nevertheless, it is usually not His way to tip His Hand. Don't try to force His Hand either. If we start insisting that He give us signs of His love or His presence, we usually end up extremely disappointed.

That He did so for us was not because we needed it to give us either faith or hope. We had a rock-solid faith in Jesus and the scriptures. We knew that June was in heaven and that our hope of being with her again was secured by the cross. These signs were a sheer gift an incredible kindness that had not been sought by any of us. I believe that it is also meant to be a gift to you. Surely, the Lord wants all of us to know that He is working behind the scenes in everyone's life just as powerfully, if not quite so visibly, as He did in our own.

An Intercessory Intervention  Within minutes of receiving word of June's peril, two friends in full-on intercessory mode launched prayers which (it seems) the Lord used to awaken June from deception.

A Vision of June in the Garage  Without knowing any of this, another friend received a vision of exactly what took place in the garage, confirming the reality of the intercessory intervention and the reliability of the next vision to come.

A Vision of June in Heaven  In this second vision our friend saw June dancing in heaven before the Lord. Completely unknown to her, another friend was getting the same vision in song form and yet another had received a similar vision several years earlier.

A Savannah Rainbow  Our song-writer friend was shown a complete double rainbow while driving towards Savannah for June's memorial service. It was during her tears and the rain that she received the words and melody for the song, "Dancing with Jesus."

Dancing with Jesus  In this song our friend sees June dancing in heaven before the Lord head thrown back laughing loud and clear." So like June to laugh that way and even more so now that she has "a happy never ending" to enjoy.

Christopher's Sculpture  The husband of our song-writer friend (a skilled artisan) received a vision of a woman dancing in heaven and sculpted it just in time to bring the original to Savannah, never imagining there would be divine connections swirling all around his work...
